MPOWER Financing is awarding a scholarship to an eligible global citizen in order to study at one of MPOWER Financing 350 partnering Universities in Canada and the United States of Ameria for the academic year 2020/2021. These scholarships are awarded to students annually to eligible and exceptional students studying at Universities’ MPOWER Supports.

The MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship was developed to recognize the exceptional potential of students studying in the USA and Canada. They purposely designed this scholarship program to be as broad as possible to suit international students ‘ broad, diverse experiences. And there’s no requirement that you apply for an MPOWER borrower!
About $5,000 grand prize scholarship will be to the most outstanding applicant worldwide for the cycle ending November 15, 2019, plus another four $3,000 regional grants. One student from each of the following countries/regions will receive these regional scholarships: India, Asia (excluding India), Latin America / Caribbean, and Africa. (All prizes are non-renewable and in US dollars.)

❋ The Grand Prize Scholarship is $5,000 while
❋ Excluding the prize, there is another regional grant of $3,000

🌍 Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship
❋ All students must be accepted at a U.S. or Canadian university that MPOWER funds, or enrolled in a full-time degree program.
❋ Must be an international student qualified to study lawfully in the U.S. or Canada, as necessary.
❋ It ensures, for U.S. study, that the applicant is either a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), eligible under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy, or has a valid visa that requires study in the United States.
❋ If you wish to study in Canada you must be a Canadian Permanent resident or have a valid visa to study.
❋ The scholarship is only open to DACA and International students, for this reason, the U.S and Canadian citizens are not eligible.
❋ MPOWER is straight merit-based which means that scholars have to be global citizens, have good grades, track records of community service, etc.

All interested students must correctly fill the online application form below. No matter if you are currently on the MPOWER Scholarship scheme or not are eligible to apply as long you meet the criteria.
